Another Big Visit Weekend
With 19 days until National Signing Day, one of the biggest and busiest
weekends is coming up, and half the Pac-12 schools will have double-digit
visitors.
USC will be welcoming in a slew of commits and top targets, including three
five-star prospects: Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington linebacker Matthew Thomas, Auburn (Calif.) Placer defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes and Brentwood
(Tenn.) Academy cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
Ramsey is a commit to USC, with several schools trying to flip him while
Vanderdoes was a long-time USC commit who decommitted last month and has a host
of schools trying to snag him.
Concord (Calif.) De La Salle linebacker Michael Hutchings and Mission Hills
(Calif.) Alemany receiver Steven Mitchell are also visiting USC, where they both
committed in summer, as are Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco offensive lineman
Nico Falah and Louisville (Ky.) Trinity defensive end Jason Hatcher, commits
that USC is trying to shore up this weekend.
And Oregon commits Tyrell
Robinson and Tyree Robinson, the four-star
prospects from San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln, will also visit.
UCLA will had 10 visitors on campus, five committed and five uncommitted, and
the headliner there is Tempe (Ariz.) Marcos De Niza five-star cornerback Priest Willis and Redlands (Calif.) East Valley defensive end Kylie Fitts, as well as
Encino (Calif.) Crespi safety Tyler Foreman and Fresno (Calif.) Central
cornerback Johnny Johnson.
Joining them will be commits that are visiting other schools but that UCLA is
trying to lock up in Bellevue (Wash.) linebacker Myles Jack and Missouri City
(Texas) Marshall linebacker Deon Hollins.
Arizona State has a quartet of Scout 300 prospects visiting from their dozen
visitors, the big names being Fresno (Calif.) Central cornerback L.J. Moore and
Avon (Ind.) defensive end Elijah Daniel from the uncommitted ranks.
Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian linebacker Cameron Judge, a commit to
UCLA, is also visiting Arizona State as is four-star quarterback commit Joshua Dobbs from Georgia.
Washington State's big weekend will bring in 10 visitors, including a trio of
commits to other Pac-12 schools.
Leading their list is a pair of Cal commits in Richmond (Calif.) Kennedy
defensive end Takkarist McKinley and Menifee (Calif.) Heritage cornerback Darius Allensworth and El Cerrito (Calif.) cornerback Marcellus Pippins, a Utah verbal.
Commits visiting Pullman include Allensworth's teammate, running back Jamal Morrow, Lynden (Wash.) offensive lineman Matt Meyer and Burien (Wash.) Kennedy
offensive lineman Cole Madison.
Utah has 14 official visitors scheduled for the weekend, the most prominent
name being South Jordan (Utah) Bingham defensive tackle Lowell Lotulelei, the
younger brother of Utah All-American Star Lotulelei, and the #2-ranked prospect
in state. Also visiting is Euless (Texas) Trinity defensive end Gaius Vaenuku.
The Utes also have a handful of commits coming in, including El Toro (Calif.)
quarterback Conner Manning, Euless (Texas) Trinity defensive lineman Sam Tevi
and Sandy (Utah) Alta receiver Harrison Handley.
It will be Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre's biggest weekend in his first month
in Boulder, with a dozen visitors expected.
Most notable are commits like Tacoma (Wash.) Bellarmine Prep quarterback Sefo Liufau, Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany receiver Devin Ross, Monrovia (Calif.)
linebacker George Frazier and Orange (Calif.) Lutheran offensive lineman Colin Sutton.
They'll be joined by key Buff targets like Valencia (Calif.) safety Tedric Thompson and San Jose (Calif.) Oak Grove cornerback Chidobe Awuzie.
Arizona has a couple of commits coming in, Tempe (Ariz.) Marcos De Niza
teammates Paul Elvira and Mauriece Lee as well as Glendale (Ariz.) College
lineman Steven Gurrola.
The Wildcats will also be bringing in Oregon commit Darren
Carrington from San Diego (Calif.) Horizon and Fresno (Calif.) Edison
quarterback Khari McGee.
Cal will welcome commits like Khalfani Muhammad, the Sherman Oaks (Calif.)
Notre Dame running back, Paramount (Calif.) offensive lineman Chris Borrayo and
Sacramento (Calif.) Christian Brothers lineman Vince Johnson, who flipped to the
Bears this weekend.
Oregon will have a small number of visitors in their first weekend with out
Chip Kelly as the head coach, but their lone West Coast visitor is a big one in
Corona (Calif.) Centennial offensive lineman Cameron Hunt. Two other big
namers are visiting, Torrodney Prevot from Texas, a commit to USC and Alabama
linebacker Zach Cunningham.
Washington will have a smaller affair than last week, but it includes five
commits, including four-star defensive tackle Elijah Qualls from Petaluma
(Calif.) Casa Grande, who's cancelled all his other visits and remains a solid
commit to the Huskies, as well as Oakley (Calif.) Freedom receiver Darrell Daniels.
In-state visitors include Bellevue (Wash.) linebacker Sean Constantine and
Tumwater (Wash.) defensive lineman Jaimie Bryant.
BYU will be hosting a good amount of visitors, including a big contingent
from the state of Oregon, all commits to the Cougars.
Leading that group is Beaverton (Ore.) Aloha four-star lineman Brayden Kearsley, who committed to the Cougars as a sophomore and Portland (Ore.)
Central Catholic safety Dallin Leavitt. They'll be flanked by Wilsonville
(Ore.) teammates Johnny Ragin III, a three-star linebacker and receiver Tanner Shipley.
Fresno State will welcome in Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta cornerback
Treshon Broughton and Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral receiver DaMari Scott.
West prospects visiting schools from around the country include Fresno (Calif.) City College
offensive lineman Chongo Kondolo visiting Nebraska, Ralston Valley (Tenn.)
offensive tackle Dan Skipper visiting Arkansas and Ohio State, Honolulu (Hawaii)
St. Louis linebacker Colton Goeas visiting Kansas, Parker (Colo.) Chaparral
tight end Mitch Parsons visiting Vanderbilt and Santa Monica (Calif.) receiver
Sebastian LaRue visiting Texas A&M.
