Kamana'o Receives Academic Honor

Release Date: 11/11/04 TUCSON, Ariz. - The CoSIDA Academic All-District VII teams were announced Thursday with Kanoe Kamana`o being named to the second team.

Kamana`o, who has a 3.30 GPA in Communication, was named Academic All-Western Athletic Conference last season, while earning third-team All-America and National Freshman of the Year honors. On the first team were Emily Adams (USC), Christine Harms (Nevada), Candace Lee (Washington), Ogonna Nnamani (Stanford), Courtney Thompson (Washington), Sanja Tomasevic (Washington) and Sarah Watkins (Arizona State). 2004 CoSIDA Academic All-District VII Team
