Brown, one of the top athletes in Ohio, committed to Cincinnati in June, but the departure of Brian Kelly has the senior star opening up his recruitment. It only took two visits, but Issaquah, Wash. offensive tackle Daniel Fleischman is ready to decide. He picked up an official offer from Hawaii after his visit to Manoa this past weekend, making it his seventh offer. But when it comes down to it, Fleischman is looking to make a Christmastime decision, so it's really down to the two schools he's already officially visited.   Full Story

Fudarell "Dee" Maggitt, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound cornerback from Lakes High School in Lakewood, Wash., verbally committed to Hawai'i Wednesday after getting a chance to take a look at Manoa and see what the Warriors had to offer. Scout.com learned Monday night that Honolulu (Hawai'i) Farrington LB V.J. Fehoko won the first-ever Hawaii High School Athlete of the Year award, given out by Island Sports Media. He beat out quarterback Andrew Manley (who was the Gatorade Player of the Year) and Kahuku DE Kona Schwenke.   Full Story

Scout.com learned late Monday night that Scout.com's No. 25 offensive tackle in the country had made his decision. Micah Hatchie, a 6-foot-5, 285-pound prospect from Waialua, Hawai'i wanted to make his intentions known during an in-home visit with Washington coaches Johnny Nansen and Dan Cozzetto Sunday night.
